The hotel was conveniently located, with close proximity to the train station, Main Street, and other local attractions. The rooms were clean and bright, with fresh bedding and towels provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Free WiFi was available in the rooms, and there was a secure car park for guests.
Some of the fittings in the room were scruffy and damaged, and the bathroom basin was too small with an unusable tap. there were issues with the bathroom door not fitting properly and cleanliness being subpar in some areas of the hotel.

Arriving by car a few hours before check-in time, I was pleased to find that the owner had made sure my room was ready. They even allowed me to leave my car there while I walked to the universities. The food at the pub was delicious and the atmosphere was nice in the evening. In the morning, breakfast was served quickly and I had the option of choosing between a traditional English breakfast and a continental one. The walk to the universities wasn't too bad, taking about a half an hour. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that all your needs are met. The basic amenities in the rooms are sufficient, and the location is excellent. Situated in a popular area within easy walking distance to the centre, it is also in a safe neighborhood. The fact that it is located in a nice pub with good staff adds to its charm.
All was fine, no improvements needed.
